Phil Paul, F.A.P.I., F.R.E.I., A.I.C.V. Phil is the group's Senior Partner. He joined
the original Schloeffel and Paul in 1943 and has been an active member of
the firm ever since. Phil is a Registered Valuer (No. 1596) and his credentials
are impeccable. Phil served on the Board of the Australian Institute of
Valuers (NSW Division) for 12 years being its President for 2 years from
1978-1980. Over his long and extremely prestigious career, Phil also served
on the Panel of the Valuation Boards of Review for many years.
Recently Phil was awarded Life Fellowship of the Australian
Property Institute in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the
valuation profession. This is an award rarely bestowed and acknowledges
his long term dedication to the industry and the admiration of his peers.
Phil has also provided a wide range of real estate agency
experience and valuation expertise to Hurstville City Council. This association
commenced in the mid 1950's and is still active today.
Phil Paul is a high profile, well-respected member of
the community. His activities include being Past President and Past Secretary
of the Hurstville Chamber of Commerce, Past President of the Rotary Club
of Hurstville and Paul Harris Fellow. Phil was a Charter Member of the
Apex Club of Hurstville. During his membership of Apex he served, for
various periods, as Zone President and Zone Secretary-Treasurer. Phil
has been honoured with a Life Membership of Apex. Phil was also, for nine
years, vice chairman of the Hurstville Community Committee. This committee
was charged with the responsibility for organizing Hurstville City Council's
centenary celebrations and Hurstville City Council's contribution to the
bicentennial celebrations.
In August 2001 PRD/Nationwide honoured Phil with the presentation
of the "John Harvey Memorial Award" in recognition of
his contribution to Real Estate and the Community.
